Race Training

The Race Training program is for Adults with an active membership who want to advance their skills and be part of a team.

Who is it for?

  • Participation is by invitation only, with limited spots available. Requirements include an active rowing membership, at least one year of rowing experience, and active participation in the sub list. Interested members should email racing@dharmavoyage.org

  • Adult members who want to push themselves in a supportive team setting.

  • Anyone interested in building endurance, strength, and racing skills.

What can I expect?

  • Structured practices designed to improve technique and speed.

  • Focus on teamwork, conditioning, and competitive readiness.

  • Guidance from experienced coaches and fellow rowers.

When do we train?

  • Weekly practices.

  • Sessions build toward local and regional regattas.

How do I sign up?

Robin Gross is the coach for race training.

In every session, participants will be taught how to:

  • Refine their technique

  • Come together as a crew

  • Discover the safe and fun challenges of gaining the skill and strength to make the boat move faster!

It is understood that there will be a wide range of interest, from those who want to race seriously, to a more casual recreational racer..
