Race Training

The Race Training program is for anyone who is an active Adult Community Rower

Who is it for?

  • Adult rowers of all levels who want to push themselves in a supportive team setting.

  • Anyone interested in building endurance, strength, and racing skills.

What can I expect?

  • Structured practices designed to improve technique and speed.

  • Focus on teamwork, conditioning, and competitive readiness.

  • Guidance from experienced coaches and fellow rowers.

When do we train?

  • Weekly practices.

  • Sessions build toward local and regional regattas.

Why join race training?

  • Experience the excitement of racing as part of a crew.

  • Challenge yourself physically and mentally.

  • Build camaraderie and friendships on and off the water.

  • This is a chance to travel to new locations to meet and compete with others in the rowing world

How do I sign up?

Robin Gross is the coach for race training.

In every session, participants will be taught how to:

  • Refine their technique

  • Come together as a crew

  • Discover the safe and fun challenges of gaining the skill and strength to make the boat move faster!

It is understood that there will be a wide range of interest, from those who want to race seriously, to a more casual recreational racer, to those who do not want to race at all and simply want to learn more about rowing and fitness on the water.
